A wedding in Cosnac

Some weddings have a special feel to them. Flavie and Alexandre’s was one of them.

We met through school, where our children have been in the same class together since they were very young.

A few years later—after more than a decade spent side by side, sharing countless memories and the joy of watching their two children grow—they chose to say "I do" surrounded by their loved ones during a beautiful day in Cosnac, Corrèze.

It was a pleasure to be there to capture every moment of a day filled with emotion, laughter, and tenderness.

The preparations: the excitement of the final moments

The day began in an atmosphere that was at once gentle and feverish.

As preparations get underway, everyone gradually realizes that the big day has finally arrived. The final details fall into place, loved ones bustle about, and the children watch with curiosity as the day unfolds—a day unlike any other. Everything is taking place at the family home in Cosnac; family and friends are there, and the children are playing.

The makeup artist is busy in the bathroom, while the hairstylist is styling hair in one corner of the living room. The work of Estelle—who runs her own salon, Zen Garden Institut—is always flawless !

Flavie’s dress is waiting for her in the office, and a surprise awaits her witnesses: she has chosen a different dress from the one approved during the fittings !

Meanwhile, Alexandre is finishing getting ready at a neighbor's house—the house is right across the street. He is accompanied by his best man.

Then comes the time for the "first look" at home, in the garden: a friend of Alexandre plays a prank on him by dressing up as the bride-to-be

Then Flavie steps forward in her turn.

The civil and religious ceremonies in Cosnac

Surrounded by family and friends, Flavie and Alexandre made their union official at the Cosnac town hall.
Filled with smiles, knowing glances, and laughter, the ceremony marked the official beginning of this new chapter in their lives.

Naturally, their children played a central role throughout the day, serving as a reminder that their love story has been unfolding for many years.

A moment just for the two of you for couple photos

After the ceremonies, we took the time to snap a few photos of the couple just a short walk away, in the village center of Cosnac and near what locals call the "Old Château de Cosnac."

These moments often give the newlyweds a chance to catch their breath, reconnect, and fully enjoy a day that always goes by too quickly.

Flavie and Alexandre were completely natural and at ease. There was no need for hours of posing; a few moments of genuine connection were enough to create images that truly reflect who they are.

My goal is always the same: to capture authentic, unforced memories so that the photos truly tell their story.

It's time to feast!

A few steps away, guests await us near the Cosnac hall of honor. A simple, accessible room, welcoming us to its pleasant and shaded exterior, perfect for a game of pétanque in the shade and leaving room for children to run and play ball.

A game is organized by the bride and groom, the game of locks: instead of throwing the bouquet, each person has a key and must manage to open a chest to obtain a gift.

Having everything on site, everyone was able to leave their car where it was parked from the start of the day, and take full advantage of each moment, this is also the advantage of doing everything in the same village!

I then leave the guests to let them fully enjoy their evening.
